What Creates Value Is Not Always the Hardest Work

Customers usually do not care how exhausted you were, how many hours you worked, or how difficult it was for you to create a product.

What matters to them is this:

What kind of change does this product, service, or idea create in their life, emotions, time, peace of mind, or outcomes?

Sometimes a simple idea creates enormous value. And sometimes something extremely difficult and time-consuming has very little value in the eyes of the market.

At first, this may seem harsh, but this is the reality of many markets. Value cannot always be measured by effort.

That is why many of the most successful businesses do not focus only on “working harder.”

They focus on understanding more clearly what people truly find valuable. In the end, the market usually does not reward effort alone;

it rewards the value that other people feel they have received.
